The way we work has changed drastically in recent years. Digitalization has opened up new possibilities and paved the way for hybrid working. As part of an exciting delegation trip to New York City, we had the unique opportunity to visit our partner Cisco's Penn1 showroom and gain an insight into the latest technologies and digital forms of communication for the future. The visit to Cisco was a valuable experience that showed us how innovation and collaboration can go hand in hand.

A day full of insights at Cisco

On the second day of our trip, we had the opportunity to visit Cisco and get a comprehensive overview of modern building technology and digital forms of communication for the future. We were accompanied by Christian Vogt and Murray Panzer, who guided us through the showroom and familiarized us with the latest technologies. The visit to Cisco allowed us to experience the future of work and explore innovative approaches.

Have you ever asked yourself: How often you change your workspace or work in a different way (phone call, meeting, workshop, concept work) during the day? When is it important for you to interact with other employees and where does this usually take place (coffee machine, tea kitchen, stairs)? When do you need a workplace with colleagues and when do you need a quiet work zone? You actually wanted to brainstorm briefly with your colleague, he is based in Hamburg - no problem.

It would be nice if our workspaces allowed for these different ways of working. Cisco has shown with its office in Penn1 that it is possible and what we need for it ... The future of the office - it's here!

Focus on hybrid working

Cisco focused on hybrid working and showed how digital collaboration opens up new opportunities for innovation. In the showroom, we were presented with state-of-the-art technologies and room concepts that enable seamless collaboration, regardless of time and place. We were able to experience the benefits of digital collaboration at first hand and were impressed by the innovative solutions that Cisco has developed.

Conclusion

The visit to Cisco was not only an opportunity to learn about the latest technologies, but also a valuable experience of exchange and collaboration. Through the dialog with Christian Vogt and Murray Panzer, we were able to gain insights and think together about future possibilities. The visit to Cisco showed how important it is to build bridges and learn from other companies in order to shape the future together. We are grateful for the opportunity to gain this experience and look forward to incorporating what we have learned into our own work. Cisco has shown that the future of work has already begun and we are ready to play an active role in shaping it.
