We are looking forward to an intensive, inspiring exchange - together with the ADG and all participants in Montabaur.
What could the public administration of the future look like - even more efficient, fully digital and at the same time closer to citizens? Answers to this question can be found in Estonia, which is internationally regarded as a pioneer of administrative digitization. Almost all administrative procedures can be completed online there - from e-tax returns to setting up a company. But in Saxony, too, innovative approaches are increasingly being developed to digitize municipal tasks and optimize citizen services.
✅100 % digital government services: Estonia offers all state services completely online - it is the first country in the world to allow divorces to be concluded digitally.
✅99 % of medical prescriptions online: E-prescriptions have been in use since 2010 and now enable almost all patients to obtain their medication online.
✅Over 2.7 billion data queries per year: The X-Road platform processes more than 2.7 billion secure transactions between public authorities and companies every year.
Estonia shows the world how it can be done - with consistently digitalized administration, tangible proximity to citizens and efficient processes. But how much of this can be transferred to Saxony? What is actually possible, what does it take - and what is already happening?
