The Innovation Center for Industry 4.0 (i40.de) from Regensburg and Werkbank32 in Mittweida have entered into a strategic partnership to expand digital skills in SMEs and support promising start-ups. Werkbank32, a project of Volksbank Mittweida and its subsidiary Teleskopeffekt GmbH to strengthen innovative capacity, builds bridges from the analogue to the digital age, promotes innovative capacity and provides insights into digitalization topics such as blockchain, process automation, practical artificial intelligence and creative prototyping. The Innovation Centre for Industry 4.0 has trained over 100,000 employees from various companies in 14 countries with e-learning and learning programmes involving new technologies on digitalization and advises companies on the implementation of digitalization projects.
