Event review: "futureSAX meets TeleskopEffekt GmbH and Volksbank Mittweida eG"

A successful evening full of inspiring stories and new contacts!

Business angels, start-ups and the ecosystem come together.

On Thursday, February 2, 2023, startups, private investors, business angels and participants in the startup ecosystem met at Werkbank32 to take part in the "futureSAX meets TeleskopEffekt GmbH and Volksbank Mittweida eG" event. The atmosphere was relaxed and informal, which led to many interesting conversations and new connections.

The event was welcomed by Alexander Knauer from TeleskopEffekt and Claudia Landrock from futureSAX. Rainer Witt's keynote speech on "How can experienced entrepreneurs support young companies as business angels?" inspired the participants and provided valuable insights into the role of business angels.

The start-ups Lexital GmbH, plasmotion GmbH and reignite GmbH were presented by Oliver Hanns from futureSAX and impressed the audience with their innovative ideas and solutions. But what do these start-ups do?

• Lexital GmbH: Lexital is an advanced AI-based software for online retailers that protects against legal claims. It works like a virus scanner and constantly checks retailers' offers for legal errors and warns them immediately if any are detected. This means that the existence-threatening effects of such errors can be proactively prevented for the first time.

• Plasmotion GmbH: Plasmotion GmbH is revolutionizing the quality of plasma-polished metal surfaces for large parts and targeted processing. By creating smooth, high-gloss and sterile surfaces in precisely the areas that require it, the company is particularly impressive in the field of fully automated deburring of milled parts, the rounding of components for medical technology and the surface-precise finishing of 3D printed parts. This means cost savings and higher productivity and process reliability.
• reignite GmbH: reignite GmbH is developing a social app for gamers that allows them to create, download and share stylish digital and customizable game cards. But it's about more than just game cards and in-game stats. Rather, it's about the holistic gamer persona, including all their achievements, hobbies and connections, created through the collection of their cards - the gamer identity. The company fosters a community of serious, like-minded gamers who can find and play with each other, rather than toxic random opponents.

The subsequent get-together and networking offered the opportunity to make new contacts and exchange ideas over a good meal.

Overall, it was a successful evening where startups, business angels and the startup ecosystem met and learned from inspiring stories and successful entrepreneurs.
