Last week, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Federal Republic of Germany, Alar Streimann, paid a flying visit to Mittweida to inspect the conceptual progress of the Werkbank32 showroom on Bahnhofstrasse. He met with the board members of Volksbank Mittweida eG, Mr. Leonhard Zintl and Michael Schlagenhaufer. Ambassador Streimann was then able to take an individually guided tour of the new Werkbank32 innovation factory.
On May 5, 2021, TeleskopEffekt GmbH, the subsidiary of Volksbank Mittweida eG and operator of Werkbank32, will open the first Estonian briefing showroom on German soil together with Ambassador Streimann.
Enterprise Estonia (EAS), which was founded in 2000 and is responsible for the development of the Estonian economy, operates the world-famous briefing center in Tallinn and provides significant support for the showroom in Mittweida. Estonia sees great potential for Estonian companies to settle in Central Saxony, which will be further promoted by TeleskopEffekt GmbH in the workbench32 . The showroom is also intended to provide insights into Estonia as a model country for digitalization.
Synergy effects between Estonian and German companies are becoming increasingly clear and the showroom completes the bridge between the two countries. TeleskopEffekt GmbH and Volksbank Mittweida have already had an office in the Estonian capital Tallinn for three years.
After all, digitalization and future initiatives not only affect international companies, but also SMEs and small and micro enterprises in our region, which can achieve supra-regional visibility with new innovative approaches. TeleskopEffekt GmbH offers a broad service portfolio for banks and SMEs to ensure a sustainable process of this transformation and to support efficient implementation.
