Auch in diesem Jahr findet der Energieeffizienz-Tag in der Werkbank 32 in Mittweida statt. Hier erfahrt ihr alles rund um das Bauen im Jahr 2025, bspw. über das Nutzen von Solarenergie sowie darüber, wie die Modulbauweise, das Bauen von Heute und Morgen revolutioniert.
In Zeiten steigender Energiekosten und wachsender klimatischer Herausforderungen zeigt der Energieeffizienz-Tag 2025, wie bereits kleine Schritte Großes bewirken können.

Am 8. Mai 2025 wird seine Exzellenz, der estnische Staatspräsident Prof. Dr. Alar Karis, im Rahmen seiner Deutschlandreise die Workbench32 in Mittweida besuchen. Anlässlich dieses hochrangigen Besuchs richten wir gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern den Estnisch-Sächsischen Wirtschaftsdialog aus – ein besonderer Moment für die Region und eine einmalige Gelegenheit für ausgewählte Unternehmen, den Austausch mit einem der innovativsten Länder Europas aktiv mitzugestalten.
Unter dem Motto „Building Bridges“ bringt der Estnisch-Sächsische Wirtschaftsdialog führende Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft zusammen, um Kooperationspotenziale zu identifizieren, digitale Perspektiven zu eröffnen und Innovationsbrücken zu schlagen.

From January 27 to 29, the Studio of the Volksbank Mittweida the recordings for a very special podcast series of the CourageOffensive will take place: Under the motto "Cross Innovation", innovation architect and presenter Dr. Julia Breßler interviews interesting people from business, science and culture.
The podcast aims to take the often-used buzzword "Cross Innovation" tangible. This not only highlights best practices, but also discusses or even dispels possible concerns that stand in the way of potential progress.
The video recordings are made as part of Chemnitz2025 and comprise a total of ten episodes dealing with forward-looking topics such as Innovation, creativity and collaboration will deal with. The workshop "From the stage to the PitchDek: Digital Storytelling for StartUps" invites start-ups, students and founders from all over Europe to discover the art of digital storytelling together.
Led by experienced actors and dramaturges, participants learn how to present their startup ideas using effective storytelling techniques and digital tools. The focus is not only on the technique of pitching, but also on the cultural diversity of the stories that every startup brings with it. Practical sessions will combine classic storytelling methods with digital tools to make pitch decks and web presences interactive and compelling. Participants will be given the tools to prepare their messages specifically for investors and an international audience, while incorporating the cultural diversity of Europe into their presentations.

As part of the Night of Science, we offer a platform for experimentation and creative learning in Mittweida as part of the Capital of Culture Region, where technology and culture merge.
The main topics are AI, VR and sustainable technologies are examined from a European perspective, promoting the exchange of ideas and joint learning. The festival of art storytelling hebt die Vielfalt europäischer Kreativität hervor, ganz im Sinne von Chemnitz als Kulturhauptstadt Europas. Die digitalisierten Werke der GewinnerInnen des internationalen Jugendwettbewerbs jugend Creativ der Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken werden in der Werkbank32 prämiert, präsentiert und auf der Videowall gezeigt, um die Kunst im urbanen Raum sichtbar zu machen.

Das Festival des Kunsterzählens lädt nicht nur zum Staunen, sondern auch zum Mitgestalten ein. In mehreren offenen Workshops können kleine und große Besucherinnen und Besucher selbst kreativ werden und unterschiedliche Kunstformen ausprobieren.
Ob beim Flipchart-Design für visuelle Geschichten, beim Linolschnitt für eigene Druckkunstwerke, beim Erleben von Weltmomenten in einem inspirierenden Vortrag einer erfahrenen Reisenden, beim Erkunden neuer Dimensionen mit dem 3D-Druck oder beim kunstvollen Schreiben in der Kalligraphie – hier ist für jede Altersgruppe und jedes Talent etwas dabei. Die Workshops werden von erfahrenen Künstler:innen und Gestalter:innen angeleitet und bieten niedrigschwellige Einstiege in verschiedene kreative Techniken.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenfrei und ohne Vorkenntnisse möglich. Einfach vorbeikommen, ausprobieren und Teil des Festivals werden!

The event aims to promote European solidarity through artistic and technological collaboration. At the "jugend creativ" jury session, interactive technology is used to digitally visualize the "best images" and transform them into 3D-printed statues. These visualizations can be viewed in the DigiLab and promote creative engagement with art and technology.
A special focus focuses on the exchange and networking between participants from different European countries, especially Germany and Estonia. To this end, teachers from Estonia and members of cultural associations will be involved together with German experts.
