We were delighted to receive a visit from the LUCE Foundation from Weiherhammer and the Weiden Economic Development Agency. On Innovation ecosystem Mittweida, we were able to show that people, spaces and drivers are needed.
In Mittweida, these are the city of Mittweida, Mittweida University of Applied Sciences and Volksbank Mittweida, with Mayor Ralf Schreiber, Rector Ludwig Hilmer and CEO Prof. Leonhard Zintl at the helm. Together, they are making an entire region fit for the future, as exemplified by the Mittweida blockchain showcase region.
The Lars and Christian Engel (LUCE) Foundation drives this vision of creating a knowledge region in Weiden and the northern Upper Palatinate. Together, we want to continue to support, exchange and network in order to bring the ideas to fruition. With Fingentia GmbH, we already have a company that connects both regions with the shareholders Volksbank Mittweida, Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Nordoberpfalz and Samhammer AG.
