At the creative MakerAdvent „Waffles & crafts“ in the workbench32 imagination, creativity and technology come to life. You invent your own stories and bring them to life with AI. Whether it's exciting adventures, funny fairy tales or witty short stories - you can create small and large masterpieces that you can turn into either a book or an audio book. With our AI-supported implementation, your stories are brought to life and lovingly edited.
Everyone can enjoy waffles - from the smallest sweet tooth to adults. While the sweet smell of fresh waffles wafts through the Werkbank32, people are writing, crafting and laughing at the same time. The „Waffles & crafts“ in the workbench32 is aimed at children aged four and over, young people and adults who want to give free rein to their creativity. Children can be supported by adults - making the event a special experience for the whole family.
The afternoon is all about the MakerAdvent: together we will experience how stories are created, ideas grow and technology can support creative work. This combines craftsmanship with digital innovation - and shows how playful new forms of storytelling become possible.
The creative MakerAdvent 2025 takes place as part of the Makerhub events Workbench32 in Mittweida - "Digital paths, creative ways" takes place. It is part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz2025 and invites you to discover, try out and enjoy.
At the Waffles & Crafts Workbench32 is not just about crafting or writing, but also about sharing experiences. Families, friends and creative people exchange ideas, inspire each other and discover new ways of creating stories with digital tools. The MakerAdvent thus becomes a place of learning, experimentation and encounters - a piece of the creative future in the Werkbank32.
