Festival of art storytelling - creativity in the spotlight.

The festival of art storytelling highlights the diversity of European creativity, in the spirit of Chemnitz as European Capital of Culture. The digitized works of the winners of the international youth competition jugend Creativ of the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken are awarded prizes at Werkbank32, presented and shown on the video wall to make art visible in urban space.
To emphasize the European character of the event, contributions and artworks from partners from Estonia and other countries will also be digitally integrated. The planned live streaming option will make it possible to address an international audience and turn the celebration into an intercultural meeting place.
The art storytelling festival not only invites you to marvel, but also to get involved. In several open workshops, young and old visitors can get creative themselves and try out different art forms.
Whether at the Flipchart design for visual stories, at the Linocut for their own printed artworks, experiencing World moments in an inspiring talk by an experienced traveler, exploring new dimensions with the 3D printing or when writing artfully in the Calligraphy - There is something here for every age group and every talent. The workshops are led by experienced artists and designers and offer a low-threshold introduction to various creative techniques.
Participation is free of charge and possible without prior knowledge. Just come along, try it out and become part of the festival!
